Daily (Stale) Bread: The news we didn’t post on September 28th, 2010
A day of hot new releases in the form of Dead Rising 2 and FIFA moved onto an evening filled with promise as Nintendo revealed 3DS launch details. In between the two, we found a swath of interesting stories that can now be found in this morning’s daily stale bread.

First Resistance 3 Screens Paint A Grim Picture
AJ: These aren’t official — and the Flickr account that uploaded the screens is down now — but I don’t think anyone would go to that kind of trouble to doctor screenshots with this level of detail.
Dave: Yeah, I would think any photo doctorer would have devoted more energy to making fake Halo images instead. ZING!
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 Coming in October
Dave: Sonic 4’s release dates are set — October 11th, 12th, and 13th on WiiWare, PSN, and Xbox Live Arcade, respectively.
Will: And after over a decade of futility, a genuinely good Sonic game will be available on consoles.
Minecraft earned $350,000 in a single day
AJ: Over 25,000 people downloaded the PC game last week. And people say computer gaming is dying…
Dave: It’s nice to see PC game developers being adequately paid for their work and not being hamstrung by piracy or over-restrictive DRM.

Dave: This guy has the same core political philosophy as I do: if you have the ability to destroy your own constituency for no good reason, that is good reason.
