Telltale Games’ upcoming adventure game set in the Back to the Future universe will include input from two artists well-known to fans of the films. Christopher Lloyd, who played Doc Brown throughout the trilogy, will lend his voice to the game, while Bob Gale — co-writer for the original film — will help craft the plot of the game.

Not too long ago, Telltale asked for fan input on the elements of the film franchise that should be present in the company’s upcoming Back to the Future game. The developer is apparently taking it to heart as it has confirmed a slew of important elements that will be present in its version of Back to the Future.

Lloyd will be presumably be returning to the role of Doc Brown, as he has been confirmed as one of the vocal cast for the upcoming title, while both his and Michael J. Fox’s likenesses will be used to create the animated in-game characters (a concept sketch of which can be seen above). Back to the Future co-writer Bob Gale will be aiding in creating the story for the five-episode series. Hopefully development for this title will go more smoothly than Lloyd and Gale’s first game projects, as Lloyd starred in Toonstruck, which saw significant cuts in content, while Gale wrote the script for the unreleased Mortal Kombat clone Tattoo Assassins.

Luckily, Lloyd and Gale will have plenty of familiar elements to work with, as the game will include the series’ signature DeLorean time machine, and familiar settings like Hill Valley and the 1985 time-line.

Any Back to the Future fans looking forward to this? What would you like to see in the games?
