With millions of players purchasing the retail version of Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar is hoping that many of them will want to continue their adventures through premium DLC, as the company revealed the first in-game paid content for the game today.

Rockstar reveals four upcoming Red Dead DLC packs, including a zombie-themed mode

The first pack, due in early August, will be called the “Legends and Killers Pack” and will include new multiplayer maps and characters while also adding a Tomohawk weapon to the single and multiplayer modes. The second and third releases will be “Liars and Cheats Pack” and the “Free Roam Pack.” Liars and Cheats will add mutliplayer horse racing, liars dice, and poker; the ability to play as other Red Dead Redemption heroes and enemies; and an explosive rifle weapon. Free Roam will add new challenges to the game’s popular multiplayer mode, while also adding posse-based scores and leaderboards. The last of the packs to come to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network will be the “Undead Nightmare Pack,” a mode that will add a new single-player adventure, zombie characters for multiplayer, and new animals to hunt.

“Legends and Killers” and “Liars and Cheats” are the only two DLC packs that are currently priced (at $10 each) and are also the only confirmed to add Achievements and Trophies to the game. You can learn more about all four packs by checking out the source link below.
