GamePro’s Friday giveaways: StarCraft goodness for everyone
This week, we’ve got StarCraft prizes for all levels of Zerg-killers. Whether want to get StarCraft II itself, some cool bonus material, or older games in the RTS series, we’ve got a contest for you. Read on to find out what you can win, and where.
Let’s start with the highly-anticipated game itself. GamePro’s Twitter followers will be able to win StarCraft II along with a guest pass to grant a friend limited access to the game as well. In order to be entered in this contest, please reply to the GamePro Twitter account only once with a post that incorporates the word “Zerg.” We’ll pick the most creative use of the word and give them the game.
GamePro’s Facebook fans will have two packages to pick from, each presenting bonus content of differentiating mediums. Fans of the printed word will be able to snag a StarCraft comic as well as a StarCraft II art book. If you prefer digital content, we’ve got a StarCraft II soundtrack and making-of-DVD. Both packages also include a guest pass to a little-known PC titled called World of Warcraft. In order to win one of the prize packs, please reply only once to the contest post on GamePro’s Facebook page, using the word “digital” in your post to indicate you want the CD/DVD pack or “print” if you want the comic book and art tome. You can only pick one, so if we find references to both in your post, we’ll disqualify you.
Last but not least, GamePro users will be vying for a snazzy StarCraft II-themed USB key. In addition to exuding futuristic grittiness, you can also extract two other cool things from the device — the original StarCraft and its Brood War expansion. If you wish to continue your StarCraft experience, the pack also comes with a guest pass for the game so you can give the newly-released sequel a whirl. In order to win this pack, just reply only once in the comment section and include the word “star” in your reply. We’ll pick a winner at random to get the games.
