For many Americans, today marks the first day back from a three- or four-day Fourth of July weekend — but for many video games, the holiday continues. Some sales are still in effect, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence DLC Pack migrates to PC and PlayStation 3, and a few in-game revels are still around for the reveling.

Fourth of July isn't over for video games

In FrontierVille, for example, you have until July 8 to gather all the items in the Fourth of July collection to trade in for a Liberty Bell item. The fireworks quest, however, ends today.
