Meat Bun launches new line: Twitter contest winner announced
Meat Bun has officially put its new line of fashionable video game shirts on sale, with six articles of clothing inspired by the greatest wizards and warriors to grace the most revered games of all time. Check out the designs of the new shirts inside.
Pictured above are the six new designs now available at Meat Bun, one of the foremost manufacturers of high-quality video game t-shirts. These new shirts, inducted as the “Wizards ‘n Warriors” line now join a handful of the site’s already popular pieces of clothing in the store section of the company’s website.
The current line references a variety of classic gaming franchises normally under-represented in video game clothing (like Kid Icarus, Castlevania, and Golden Axe) in a non-overt fashion, which serve as a stark contrast to most of the game-related clothing sold by other retailers. You can read more about Meat Bun’s design philosophy and related subjects in our recent interview with the company.
To celebrate the launch, GamePro ran a contest on Twitter last weekend in which readers had to pose with their worst-looking video game t-shirts, showing an appropriate amount of shame for doing so. The winner, chosen by the fashion-knowledgeable team at Meat Bun, is Twitter user CtrlChris (pictured at right), who sported an abomination of cross-marketing between Dark Void and Soju, hiding his shame behind a copy of our July issue. Fear not Chris, help is on the way. Additionally, the staff has decided to award a runner-up prize to Twitter user fritter7 (spared a photo on GamePro on account of finishing in second), who will get his choice of one t-shirt.
Congratulations are in order for the winners, with huge congratulations reserved for the team at Meat Bun for putting together another amazing new line. Everyone else, keep it tuned to GamePro as we debut another great contest on Friday.
